Yesterday, Marcus and I made 200 cards! I know it sounds like a lot–and it is–but they were so fun to make the time just flew by.
The photo above is a sneak peek of the NEW wildlife cards we’re launching this Saturday and below is a video of how we make our cards. All our cards are designed and printed in our studio (aka. spare bedroom) in Seattle’s Ballard/Sunset Hill neighborhood, then cut and folded by hand.
Why are we making so many cards?
Because Plaid Frog Press will be in the Sunset Hill Walking Art Fair this Saturday, June 12!
The walking art fair is a great time for discovering unique art and gifts for Father’s Day, graduations, summer birthdays and anniversaries, and/or simply as a treat for yourself. We went last year (its first year) and had a great time meeting all our neighborhood artists and craftspeople. We recommend bringing water with you and taking your time because this year there’s 50 artists to visit! ?
Use the fair’s Google Map as your guide, or pick up a paper map at the Sunset Hill Clubhouse at 3003 NW 66th Street. Please remember to wear your mask and practice social distancing.
? ? Plaid Frog Press will be on the corner of 24th Avenue NW and NW 70th Street. Look for the beige-and-white townhouse complex. There’s plenty of free street parking, and for your convenience, we’ll be accepting cash, credit cards, and Venmo.
Hope you get a chance to stop by on Saturday from 12:00-4:00PM. Tell your friends and make a day of it. Looking forward to seeing you! ?
ps. If you can’t make it or don’t live in Seattle, please know that we will be adding our new wildlife cards to the Plaid Frog Press shop this weekend so you can still order them. ?
